Hi, dear Abigail! I just looked at your entire album of film photos. Scrolling down and gazing at each picture was like traveling back in time and paging through a photo album that my father put together in the 50s and 60s. Film suspends reality and gives ordinary images a rich texture and a dreamlike quality. As you might suspect, the old Sun Records building is among my favorites along with shots of the river and bridge and the pictures of sweet little Daisy.

Thank you for this marvelous essay on taking pictures the old fashioned way. It was very pleasing. I hope your week is going splendidly, dear friend Abigail. Please take good care of yourself and Daisy until we meet again.

I am really just loving this set of film photographs. The lighting in all of these is just lovely and I really like your composition style, very nice! My favourite perhaps is the sunset in the car side mirror - beautiful!

I love the soft, cozy, warm tones of these images. They make me think about how good times n ytoften look in our mind's eye when we reflect back on them later.

So much life in these even though they're almost void of humans.

Wow, your photos are absolutely amazing! They have this super nostalgic and rustic charm. :) And I love that you were in TN, I'm awfully proud of it being my home state, just like you are with Kansas.
