harvest moon learning

learning
to pace myself

learning
to always drink enough water while on the road
otherwise i get a cold

learning
that whatever happens
God means for good

learning
to laugh it off and move on

learning
to use a vintage film camera manually

learning
if i don't have something positive to say
don't say it.
there's enough negativity in the world without me adding to it.

learning
about this season in new places
the trees and foliage are different.

learning
that this world is not my home
i'm just passing through.

peppermint
burning bush
snow peas

Hi, dear Abigail and sweet Daisy! Life is all about learning and you reveal yourself to be very wise listing these important life lessons. Your picture taking prowess offers more proof that you've got your head on straight and possess a good heart. Those moon shots are among the most spectacular I've ever seen - simply incredible! In your photos you love to share your fascination with living, growing things and these images of foliage, blossoms and crops are fine examples. I love the picture of cutie pie Daisy gazing into the camera. She has no way of knowing how many sets of eyes gaze back at her and how many people have come to love her via your blog. I know that I love her.

Thank you for another excellent post, dear friend Abigail. Take care of yourself and doggie Daisy and enjoy the rest of your week!

Your words are always so inspiring! I think there's so much we can learn from every day situations if we just pay enough attention to realize it.

Wow, those are some incredible moon pictures. Hope you feel better soon! I know what you mean about drinking enough water! I'm fighting a kidney infection right now because I wasn't taking good enough care of myself : / Antibiotics are kicking it, though.

And I love that you believe that whatever happens, God is good.

Your shots of the moon are very beautiful. I also really liked the sunset shot of the field. I hope and pray you feel better soon. Colds are no fun!

Incredible photos!! I mean just amazing. Also, that last line reminds me of a song by Thrice called "In Exile" that I love and think you'll love too, if you haven't heard it before.

"My heart is filled with songs of forever -

A city that endures when all is made new.

I know I don't belong here,

I'll never call this place my home -

I just passing though."

Those moon shots really just take my breath away. You are such a talented young photographer, Abigail! And it was lovely to read of the things that you are learning recently. I especially love the point of learning to say positive things rather than the negative - you are right, there is enough negativity in this world. That is a wonderful outlook to have.
