30 day photo challenge 1/3

so because September has 30 days,
and i love photography,
and i'm terribly busy (so of course i need something else to do)
i've been doing this 30 day photography challenge.
i think most people do this to challenge themselves to take pictures everyday,
but since i already do that (tenfold),
i'm doing the challenge to make me take pictures with a given theme,
not just the cool stuff i see and sunsets.
i found the challenge via pinterest.
here are the first ten days.

ONE - SELF PORTRAIT -  flowers through mirror
TWO - WHAT I WORE - western blouse and pincurls
THREE - CLOUDS
FOUR - SOMETHING GREEN - bedroom walls, papered in 1968
FIVE - AFTER DARK - spooky shadows made by staircase
SIX - OBSESSION - road trips (i was in oklahoma this day)
SEVEN - CHANGES TO COME - first yellow leaf of fall
EIGHT - ROUTINE - falling back into the dismal routine of schoolwork
NINE - SOMEONE YOU LOVE -  Daisy (i admit, this was somewhat predictable)
TEN - CHILDHOOD MEMORY - Timmy and Lassie puzzle
Stay tuned for parts two and three.
what do you think so far?

Really enjoyed the photos! Your western blouse is lovely, and so are the flowers (and, of course, Daisy)!

Hi, dear Abigail! I think your photography is of such high quality and so brilliantly conceptual that you should have your own public exhibition in an art gallery. Your self portrait is stunning and so is the next picture showing your brightly colored western blouse. The green wallpaper pattern is soothing and no one renders darkness and light better than you as evidenced in the picture of spooky shadows. I am always happy to see that little rascal Daisy and you finished with a reminder of Lassie, a television series that I watched first run when I was young.

Well done indeed, dear friend Abigail. I hope you've been having a great week. Take good care of yourself and I'll connect with you again soon!

And, here I am replying to myself...just noticed the "Not all who wander are lost" quote on the notebook--that's one of my favorites!

Wow, that first picture islovely! I think it's really cool that you're doing this challenge; you've taken some great pictures so far and I can't wait to see what else you post. Honestly, all of them are great in their own way, but I just can't stop looking at the first one, the one with the wallpaper, and the after dark shot. Just beautiful!

Goodness I love these! That first one is so so beautiful, and I love how the "Something green" photo looks as if it could of been taken in 1968! (and how wonderful to still have original wallpaper like that!). I know I say this all the time, but you really have such a wonderful eye, your photography is always so enchanting.

Loving this challenge so far, I can't wait to see more of it! You always take such great pictures, and with each post it seems they become more and more impressive. Your photography skills are brilliant. I loved all of these. My favourite is perhaps the shadows cast by the staircase as well as the one with the wallpaper (which is gorgeous by the way!).

What a great idea for inspiring more lovely photos and you've got some great ones in this post. I really like #4 & 5 for their wonderful simple everyday/ night beauty.
