Hello, dear Abigail! Every one of your posts is an adventure, one that I enjoy immensely. I greatly admire your picture taking expertise. You are an artist who possesses a vintage eye, mind and heart. Your pictures are essays that reveal volumes about you, about the things that matter to you and about the way you see the world around you.

Snow covered or bare, the countryside that surrounds you is breathtaking. Is that a bear's head carved in a tree stump? Did you do that?

As I scrolled down the page I needed to back up and study the picture of the record player. It is a marvelous composition, one that satisfies deep down thanks to the addition of the light stand, bare bulb, curtains, natural sunlight and shadow.

Dear little Daisy was having a bad hair day, wasn't she? :) She looks like a plush stuffed toy and I feel the love you have for each other. She always gazes at the camera with curiosity and seems to relish the attention. She melts my heart. I'm sure Elly Mae Clampett wishes Daisy was one of her cuddly critters!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, dear friend Abigail!

You've got some lovely colours in the photos. That bright blue sky is breathtaking. Little Daisy is quite a beauty! Do you not struggle with brown under eye stains?

Your photos are so pretty! I love the ones of the flat open landscape. Where I live there are hills and mountains everywhere, so I'd love to travel west someday and see it in person.

Thank you so very much!! I didnt carve the bear head, though that sounds like fun. Its at a friends house and he has a name but i cant remember it right now. I thought me was so cute i just had to get a picture :)

Thanks! Daisy does have dark tears but we try to wipe them on a regular basis. However, they may not be as noticable here because the hair around her eyes and nose is getting quite long.

I adore your brown and blue ensemble. That's a colour combo I really need to reach for more often myself.

Beautiful array of snapshots, dear gal. It's a sincere joy to see the world through your lens like this.

Big hugs & many thanks for all of your awesome recent blog comments!

♥ Jessica
