THE SUNSET PROJECT - WEEK 38

sometimes
i try and i try
and it seems sorely in vain.
and i feel very lost.
but let me remind you
it's easy to get to feeling down
and also easy to get back up again.
and i believe that the Lord is a big part of that
but also nice people.
so thank you.
you guys are a huge part of me.
so often i just don't know.
should i post something?
i'm kinda silly.
no one will care to read it.
and then i find otherwise.

thank you for reading these posts.
thank you for commenting
thank you for encouraging.
because it means way more than you know.

I've wanted to do a sunset project like this for the longest time, kudos to you for remembering to take pictures every evening! They came out lovely. :) (And your blog is adorable, by the way!)

Oof, I didn't notice this was a regular thing that you take a photo *every* night *all* the time. That's even more incredible and so inspiring!

Of course I care, dear Abigail. We all care. For me, blogging is not as much about the content of individual posts as it is an opportunity for different types of people to identify things they have in common, form genuine, long lasting friendships and regularly drop in on each other to say hello and offer a few encouraging words. An interesting post is icing on the cake but your real friends will come here and wish you well regardless of the topic and no matter what kind of mood you're in.

I am astonished by a couple of these new sunsets! Thursday's once again reminds me of an upside down, backwards universe in which orange waves wash across a blue sand bar. Friday's sky is equally striking with bold yellow ribbons of water vapor strung far and wide.

Thank you for another inspiring post, dear friend Abigail. Please pat little Daisy for me and turn on her favorite TV show, The Beverly Hillbillies. Have a wonderful week!

You are such a lovely girl and you have such a lovely blog. Having others across the world reach out to you can be such an amazing feeling, especially in times when it may not feel like there is anyone around at the moment 'in the real world'. I'm glad you are feeling better, and don't ever think you're silly for posting something on your blog. It is your own personal space and should be whatever you want. Those who care stick around!

That is something i noticed right away. Your acceptance of any blog and willingness to cultivate friendship with your readers and other bloggers is very inspiring and refreshing.
Orange waves across a blue sandbar... I love that.

Thursday's sky is so beautiful! I love the way the light is shining on Friday's photo too. I know it's silly, but when I was growing up seeing the sunlight shine through the clouds like that always reminded me of God for some reason.

I can relate to what you wrote so so much, as you read in my most recent post. I always get stupidly anxious over what I post, when often the posts I want to write and force myself to publish are usually well recieved anyway. But I shouldn't care, because even if no one does read it or like it it, it doesn't matter after all. It doesn't make it a bad post. I'm trying to learn not to care so much. A blog should be a well rounded reflection of the owner after all.

Hi Abigail, I just found your blog, which is so lovely. As are your words, and the beauteous sunsets you've shared. <3 your words = poetry, and they're what I needed today. So thank you.
