this past week was beautiful
in more ways than one.
i look back at the sunsets and get that rosy feeling all over again.
i want to dive back in and make the week last longer.
which is reason why i take pictures anyway
sunsets included.
i've never really tried to be a picture taker.
i just don't like change.
i want to slow down the beautiful moments,
save a scene or piece of something special.
i'm not really trying to document things,
i'm just trying to keep from forgetting the beautiful.

I know what you mean about wanting certain beautiful things to last longer. You're pictures are always so gorgeous. I love the 13th, 15th, the 19th, but the one with the carnival ride is just too cool.
These sunset photos are so fun, what a fabulous idea!
What gorgeous skies you've been experiencing! :) x

I love this series, Abigail! These are all such beautiful pictures!
I saw what I believe is the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen last week. It was simply amazing, yet indescribable.
love the next to last picture. The fair is in town this week and I can't wait till Allie is a little bigger so I have an excuse to go!
Tuesday is a wonder! I love your simple and beautiful purpose for photography, it's a noble one. :)
I love your philosophy on photo taking :) I love the second photo from the bottom, carnival rides are one of my favorite things to photograph!
sunsets have so much to tell don't you think?...
they're beautiful, they calm you, they amaze you, they comfort you... and yet I always feel they hide something.. or maybe they don't hide it, they are just waiting for me to ask...
I miss the sunsets from home.. here at the Caribbean they are beautiful for sure...the beach and sun colliding is quite a view..BUT...the sunsets at the desert, where I'm from...geez those are the best I've seen in my life...you see colors such as red and pink and salmon and purple and orange mixing up in the sky...I'll have to send you a photo of one and see what you think... these are amazing for sure... but you've got to see the ones in the desert... xoxo
Looooving the one with the fair ride...lovely and also a bit haunting! :)
