What a marvelous collection of pictures, dear Abigail! You have such a creative mind and a good eye for composition, a talent far beyond your years. Mrs. Shady adores blue china like the set shown in image #1. In fact, her love of dishes, cups and plates borders on obsession. Leave it to you, dear friend, to think of capturing a sunset reflected in a glass door. Brilliant! My eyes become misty whenever I see pictures of Daisy. She reminds me how much I love dogs and how much I miss my dearly departed Toto. The silhouette, your Deering banjo, vintage hi-fi, running shoes - all are interesting subjects for pictures and rendered perfectly by you and your camera. Well done, dear friend Abigail. Please give Daisy a smooch for me and have a great week!
The blue china is beautiful! I think my mom has one of the plates in the set. I also enjoyed your silhouette and banjo-picking photos!
I am really loving this little ongoing photo series that you are doing. I can imagine it must be very fun to do, and you've taken some really creative turns with some of the topics. I really love the photo of the willow print china (which I adore!) and the one of Daisy curled up at the end of the bed. Looking forward to seeing more from this series!
I love the silhouette one and the reflections ones! You photos are very creative.
Yay for more awesome pictures! The silhouette and curled-up Daisy are the ones I like best in this set--too cute!--but I also like road trip-themed shots. It makes me want to go somewhere special (perhaps in Kansas...). I love that you take pictures of normal things, because that sort of gives a glimpse into your life (and when some other people do it, they post it on social media websites, which kind of takes away from the simplicity and beauty of it). The pictures you post just are more effortless and down-to-earth, which is part of why they're so wonderful to look at (and of course, they just are anyway). Can't wait for part 3!
thanks, TJ, you just made my day. <3
thank you , Sarah, i think those are my favorite, too.
thank you so much. my Mom love Blue Willow China, too, and is always looking for little pieces at thrift stores. I'm so glad you enjoy my fluffy little dog!
Well darn, I posed a comment on here while on vacation but I guess it didn't stick! I love your new dresses! And blue willow china always makes me think of my grandmother, those were her everyday dishes.
