THE SUNSET PROJECT - WEEK 50

so i've been busy with the launch of the new layout
on the road and various other things.
but the cool air and interesting skies on my nightly ventures are so refreshing.
even more refreshing is the sweet comments you all left last week.
knowing how wonderful you guys are
i suspected that i'd get a few charming notes...
but my goodness!
i was overwhelmed by the encouraging messages.
you can be sure that each and every one made me deliriously happy.

also, friday made me deliriously happy.
we went for a long walk as the sky slowly changed above and around us.
from gray to blue to yellow,
pink and red and deeper still
until just a faint red smudge remained on the horizon.
it wasn't to cold and when it was colorful,
it shot over our heads and as far as the eye could see
lighting our faces with this other worldly glow.
just thought i would share that.
God bless.

Your new layout is fantastic! It's so clean and simple and perfect. Lovely photos, as usual. :) You should have been here last night, the sunset was spectacular. All royal purple on one side, and orange-y pink on the other. I thought of the sunset project when I saw it. :)

Friday's sky is so incredible, it looks almost surreal. It must be so therapeutic stepping out into the evening, taking a breath and just snapping the day's picture. The skies looks so vast. I wish I could experience one like that someday without the clutter of buildings and trees.

Hi, dear Abigail! You are inching ever closer to the one year mark with your sunset series and this week's set is enchanting. It doesn't look like there's much snow on the ground at this point in time, but Sunday's, Monday's and Tuesday's skies seem to be threatening snow showers. I agree that Friday's sunset is the most spectacular. I can understand how you were bathed in an eerie glow as those swaths of brilliant color spread across the canopy above you. Moments like that are a good time to pause and say a prayer of thanks for such unfathomable beauty.

You deserved all the praise and recognition you received this past year, dear friend Abigail, and I am proud to call you a friend. Please squeeze Daisy for me and enjoy the rest of your week!

Like all that you share with us, dear Abigail, there is a powerfully lovely sense of serenity and understated beauty to your new blog design. I like it a great deal and find it highlights your beautiful photos even better than the previous one did.

Oodles of hugs,
♥ Jessica
