THE SUNSET PROJECT - WEEK 35

i guess you probably think that i have nothing but free time
and tons of money because i'm always going somewhere
have good instruments
an expensive breed of dog
and live in a pretty, old house
.
but i'm not wealthy.
at least in a monetary sense.

my dog was adopted
i buy most everything used
live in a small town
and eat off the dollar menu.

we're not rich
but that doesn't be i can't have fun.
God has put wonderful people into my life.
He's allowed bad things to happen
but so many good things, too.

so actually, i am rich.
but just in things different from the worlds standards.

have a good week :)

Such a beautiful outlook you have on life and the world, and as always such beautiful pictures!

Hello, dear Abigail! Your last statement, the one about being rich in things different from the world's standards, speaks volumes about you. You are rich in all the ways that count. What a fine young person you are!

In this week's sunset study I love the red glow visible at the horizon on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday. It seems like a good breeze was blowing on Monday, Thursday and Friday because the tree tops look like they are waving. Every shot is beautiful in its own way just as your life is beautiful in its own way.

I wish you a very happy week ahead, dear friend Abigail. Please give Daisy a hug and a biscuit for me!

Good remarks about what truly makes a person rich!

What lovely words! I'd much rather be rich with wonderful memories made by going on adventures with friends and family than with money.

I'm loving the updates on the blog and the sentiment behind this post. You are so wise! I didn't get to see any spectacular sunsets this week but I did get to see the adorable full moon last night and felt richer that I got to witness something amazing that happens everyday but I rarely get to see.

An emphatic and very sincere, here, here!!! I truly believe that one's degree of wealth is not measured solely (or in many cases, at all) by the dollars and cents in their bank account and also lead a life that is on the frugal, but thoroughly rich and blessed side of things. I think we're fortunate to be able to see our worlds as such and to appreciate what we have. Sadly, too few people these days do and they miss out on a great deal of potential happiness and the kind of richness that cannot be bought for any amount of money because of it.

♥ Jessica
