The Sunset Project - Week 6

The days are longer with the promise of warmth.

The sun's broad glow delicately brushing at clouds is a joy to my heart

May your heart be filled with joy, dear Abigail. You too, Daisy! Like the others before them, these sunsets are beautiful and inspiring. No two are the same. I enlarged and studied each one. The picture taken March 14 reminds me of a large bird in flight, perhaps a migrating goose. If you imagine the bird flying from right to left and its wings flapping downward at the moment the picture was taken, perhaps you will see what I see.

Thank you for sharing your photography skill with us again today, dear friend Abigail, and enjoy the week ahead!

I love this project! I've tried 'one photo a day' projects before, but I always missed like four days a week, ha!

Your fascination with the sky makes me feel less weird for my own obsession with it. Sometime I swear I will get in a car (or walking) accident around dusk because I cannot get my eyes off of the heavens! The promise of Spring is so welcome and quite apparent in these brighter pictures-- oh, for Summer sunsets! I can't wait to see your project then! :)

Thank you, Erin, i totally understand what you mean.
Since beginning this project, i have been very surprised at the positive feedback from other bloggers and especially other friends and/or co-workers. I've actually found that many others are equally enamored by sunsets and cloud patterns, too.
I think it's so wonderful how God has been allowing me to use a few pictures as a tool to point others to him.
:D

I have never tried those projects before, though i have heard of them. Someday i will, i'm sure.
It may interest you to know that i set the alarm on my wristwatch to beep a few minutes around the time of sunset. This has proven to be a good reminder for me.
Maybe you could try setting a reminder on a cellphone or something like that? Just an idea!
I'm so glad you like my little project, have a great day!

:) I think it's one of God's favorite things to do, using seemingly small things to have a big impact. Way to be willing, keep on!

Goodness, these are wonderfully lovely. Thursday's in particular caught my eye. The composition is marvelous and the way the trees in the background almost look as though they've been set slit by the blazing sun is stunning.
