These colors explode off the page, Abigail, and it won't be long before the countryside around you is once again lush and green with crops vigorously growing in the fields. You're right. Crops are much higher than they appear from the road. My aunt and uncle had a farm and my cousins and I used to play in their cornfield and pretend we were in a maze. That shot of the moon is spectacular!

I wish you and Daisy a safe and happy weekend, dear friend Abigail!

These are really fantastic photographs, Abigail! The colours are incredible! I never would have thought that milo crops were so tall either, they only look to be able knee high when driving past them at a distance!

These photos made me so excited for summer! I really like the one with the railroad sign. And oh my gosh I've always wanted to see those windmills in person! We don't have anything like that around here.

Yes, i took the one of the moon through a telescope. I only have a little point and shoot camera so i couldn't have gotten it that clear otherwise lol

Awesome. Thats a neat story.
I love that; "lush and green with crops vigorously growing". You describe it perfectly.
Daisy and i are wishing you a safe and happy weekend, as well. :)

Thank you, Sarah!
If you look closely in the railroad sign pic, on of my sisters is on a bike down the road.
The windmills are definitely cool. There are tons more scattered across the horizon that my camera couldn't even capture. Which brings me to another point i could have shared; the windmills are HUGE. One of the blades alone is assembled from three pieces. On the road one time we saw just one piece on a semi-truck. It was an oversize load and longer than the trailer!
Hope you get to see them sometime, they are truly spectacular

Warm, uplifting, wonderful images! My heart and soul are so very ready for summer's return. The sizzling days and balmy nights, sunshine as far as the eye can see and breezes so perfectly warm they seem almost surreal. These beautiful photos, as Sarah mentioned in her comment as well, truly do make me even more excited for those days to grace us once again.

I love that you find the beauty in your home state. So many often can't see it so vividly, but you do.
