Perfect Imperfections
I am very excited for you, dear Abigail! I am giddy with anticipation as you prepare to mark a full year of bringing us these awesome sunsets on your blog. Sunday's sky is a glorious display with swirls of color reaching across the canopy in all directions. No human artist could capture such splendor on canvas! Friday's deep red cloud deck is spectacular and seems to be marking a frontal boundary. Brilliant blue, milky clouds, complete overcast - they all remind us of the infinite variety that is ours to behold if we only remember to pause in the midst of our busy days and look to the heavens. All it takes is a few seconds of sky gazing to allow us to feel relaxed, calm and centered again.

Thank you for your very lovely comment - I'm so glad it gave me the reason to head over here and see that you are almost at the year mark of sunsets. So much sky, so much expanse, so much difference day by day. The first image is breath taking.
Gorgeous skies - and all the more so given what month they transpired in. Here, for the most part, you'd be shooting grey, grey and for a change of pace (no, wait... :D) more grey, perhaps through snow or icy rain. It must be very energizing and fun to have such vivacious, beautiful skies during the winter. It's hard to believe that the one year anniversary of when you began this wonderful project is rounding the bend. It has been an immense joy to see and be both touched and inspired by your elegantly lovely sky photography for (nearly) a year now, sweet dear.

Winter sunsets really are the best aren't they?
It's a hard choice between Sunday and Friday; both are very beautiful, Abigail! So far my week has been pretty good.
I'm really loving this new layout of yours - it really compliments the beauty of your photographs!
I gotta say that the first one is my favorite, it really gives you a sense of scale as to how big the sky is! I think it's great that you have been able to keep up this project for a whole year!
